Happenings,Thoughts and Feelings.

Well Little Mark had his MRI this past week and all went well.He was such a brave boy.It was a challenge managing both boys at the hospital as Broc is not used to not being the one attended too.Everytime a nurse or Dr walked into the room he felt like he had to give all the answers.I guess that is what happens when that is all you know.He was however very caring and comforting for his brother and kept telling him that everything will be fine and that he gets a popsicle once he was all done.

The results came back and the fluid in his knee has gone and the cyst is healing well.

Broc has his cardio check up this Tuesday and as usual I am a bundle of nerves. He has been really off the past couple of days.He has been crying for no reason and not sleeping well.He has also been telling us more and more that his heart is getting tired.Of course the worry pot in me thinks the worst, so I am really preparing myself for bad news.Mark seems to think its the heat that is getting to him.Poor guy cannot stay outside playing for more than 20 mins and his heart is racing at 180 and he is as parched as a dessert.

I have a lot of questions for Dr C.How long should he be outside for in the heat? Is it okay for his HR to reach 180 while he is playing for only 15-20min?How is his valve holding up?and many more........

He will also be seeing a Urologist on Friday as we thought he had a small uro. problem but it may be a little bigger than we thought. As if we really need another specialist to go to.Another issue we face is that if he needs any surgical approach then we have to go to Riley. He cannot just go to the local hospital like Mark does, we have to take a whole trip to the Children's Hospital even if its a very minor procedure.

Lots of things happening in the next couple months. We are going to be learning a lot more about the chromosome disorder that Broc and I both have to.We are very happy to learn anymore that can help us take better care of him or find better care for him.

Thank you for all the support our readers have given us.We really appreciate it.
