Lights,Camera,Action

Mark and I were extras in a movie last Sunday. The movie is being filmed in NW Indiana and parts of Michigan too.
It was a great exp. for him.He learned all the "movie" terms and played a very good audience member.
The bonus was that we were watching a play of Alice in wonderland with many twists. It was very modern with singing and dancing and Armish people too.

Here are some of the pics of the day.

Here the Mayor of South Bend was handed a signed script of the play/movie as a token of their appreciation for letting them film in South Bend.

It was a really long day but that's movie business.

Things we have done this Summer.......

We planned a fun evening at a Water Park.

It started to get really chilly after the sun went down but they still played.

We also joined the Kids bowl Free programme and have been bowling every Friday evening. It really is a lot of fun and the boys love esp. when they put the lights off and everything is neon and the music goes a little louder too.

Once we came back from Philly Broc had a sleep study scheduled. Not a fun night at all until he was asleep.

This was my bed that pulled out.

Brocs bed he loved the Dinos.

Not a very happy boy with all the wires and leads, but he survived and did very well.

Philly - SVIP visit - Day 4.

On the last day we had no testing and a very late flight so we took the opportnity and went to the zoo. Before we hit the zoo we had breakfast at Dunkin Donuts. While we were sitting have coffee we saw fire trucks and heard lots of sirens. To our amazement the coffee shop just across the street was on fire. The boys loved seeing the firemen. Especially when they had to break the windows to help with the fire. Thank goodness no-one was hurt.

It was hot so we had to take lots of breaks and drink lots of fluid. We did have Brocs wheelchair so he was able to sit a lot while we walked. We had a small time crunch so we tried to see as much as we could. We even had time to drink a frozen lemonade and play on the playground with the monkeys.

There were a lot of cool rooms with AC and many small animals to look at which helped too.

Little Mark had to take a pic of Benjamin Franklin. He learnt about him at school. This was in the back of the cab.

And on our way home again.
