Day 3 was a longish kind of day. Broc had his MEG scan first after we enjoyed another breakfast at the cafeteria.
Once we got Broc settled after many minutes trying to find a movie that wouldn't scare him, they settled on March of the Penguins.
They were very proud of Broc as he is the youngest child to complete the MEG scan to date. We are very proud of him.
While he was doing his MEG scan I was doing some neuro psych testing. Some of it was fun and some just plain frustrating. I am not good with puzzles at all.
On our way out we hang out in the lobby for a while and the boys discovered the Voice radio Station sponsored by Ryan Seacrest. It was a blast. The boys were requesting songs, dancing, learning new dance moves and making lots of friends. I am sure they were vert glad to see us go. They both never stopped talking or dancing at all. Just jive bunnies with bundles of energy.
It was a nice break for Mark and I until he decided to join them. It was great daddy and boys time too.
Although we did a lot of testing we had wonderful quality family time.I loved every minute of it.
We also decided to venture out and eat diner at Bobbys Burger Palace. I loved my burger. The milkshakes were incredible. The food was gourmet so Mark was not to keen on it but it was fun. The boys entertained all the people sitting around us.
Every single time we go to the Children's Hospital (and unfortunately, we are there every single week :/), someone asks to eat at the cafeteria. We do occasionally but they think it is such a huge treat LOL The food is OK although I did expect healthier fare at an award-winning hospital :p The kids think it is such an awesome treat LOL
